Thermoforms

Thermoforms

Thermoforming is a plastic molding technique that transforms plastic films into items of various shapes and sizes.

The materials involved are various types of PST, ABS, PC, PVC, PMMA, PET G, PET, PST in coil, Polypropylene, PE.

The procedure is very simple: first of all, the sheet of plastic material is brought to such a temperature that the material softens and becomes malleable after which it is made to adhere to the mold by a very strong pressure. Through the thermoforming of plastic, standard containers can be produced such as bowls, trays, cups, buckets and saucers.

High-rules dies are suitable for cutting the outer perimeter of this type of packaging.
